BUFFY THE BUTTERFLY This set is for the 5x7 hoops. Make this adorable stuffed Butterfly in 2 or 3 hoopings. The body is make in one hooping and the wings can be made in one 6x10 hoop or in two 5x7 hoopings. All sizes included in one set. Use polar fleece for these soft fluffy toys or decorations. How cute these would be hanging from ribbons in the nursery!
Instructions included to add crinkly plastic to the inside of the wings for added baby's enjoyment.
Finished size of butterfly is 6 x 8 1/2"
If being used for decoration and not for a toy for small child you can add chenille stems for legs.
If you have a 6x10" or the D1 hoop the wings are made in one piece. If you only have a 5x7 hoop, two wings are made and hand stitched or glued together in the center. The wings are inserted into openings left in the sides of the body. Then the body is stuffed. If for a toy you will need to stitch the openings closed securely. If for decoration you can just glue the openings closed. Detailed step by step instructions included.
